HOW CAN WE HELP YOU ?
- A. Registration Process
Q1. Who can participate in the championship?
Only college students with a valid College ID are eligible.
Q2. How do I register?
Visit racingcarhub.com and Fill out the official Registration Form, attach a photocopy of your College ID and payment details.
Q3. Can I choose my racing slot?
No. Racing slots will be allocated by the organizers. Participants must report as per the schedule given to them.
Q4. Is the registration fee refundable?
No. The fee is non-refundable once paid.
Q5. What documents do I need to carry on race day?
You must carry:
- Your college ID card (original)
- The registration receipt issued to you
- B. Technical Specifications
Q6. Can I bring my own RC car to the event?
No. All RC cars will be provided by the organizers.
Q7. Are the cars the same for all participants?
Yes. Cars are identical in terms of motor, battery, and controller. Only the external look/design may differ.
- C. Championship Format
Q8. How are the Intra-college rounds conducted?
- Heats of 6 cars on track at once
- 5 laps per racer, max 5 minutes allowed
- Ranking based on best 5-lap time
- Top 3 per college will be awarded; Rank 1 qualifies for Inter-college
Q9. How is the Inter-college round conducted?
- All finalists (1 from each college)
- Format: Head-to-head elimination races of 10 laps
- Winners progress to the next stage until the Finals
Q10. What if my car flips or goes out of track?
If your car flips over or goes out of the track, the marshal will immediately place it back on the same spot where the incident happened. You can continue the race from that exact point.
Q11. What happens if I make a false start?
One restart will be allowed. Repeated false starts may lead to disqualification.
- D. Scoring & Awards
Q12. How is scoring done in intra-college rounds?
By best 5-lap completion time.
Q13. How are ties decided?
Ties are broken by the fastest single lap time.
Q14. What are the awards?
- Intra-college: Top 3 winners per college
- Inter-college: Champion, 1st Runner-Up, 2nd Runner-Up
- E. Penalties & Disqualification
Q15. What happens if I crash into other cars intentionally?
Intentional collisions or rough driving will lead to immediate disqualification.
Q16. What if I make repeated false starts?
One restart will be allowed. Repeated false starts may lead to disqualification.
Q17. What can get me disqualified?
- No valid college ID
- Rough/intentional collisions
- Tampering with car/equipment
- Unsportsmanlike conduct
Q18. Who makes the final call on penalties?
The Race Director and Marshals’ decisions are final and binding.
- F. Event Day & Miscellaneous
Q19. Can I have supporters or friends watch the race?
Yes, but they must stay in the designated audience area. Only officials and racers are allowed inside the track zone.
Q20. What time should I report on race day?
You must report at least 30 minutes before your scheduled slot to verify ID and complete registration.
Q21. What happens if I miss my allocated slot?
If you do not report on time, you may forfeit your chance to race. Slots cannot be shifted or rescheduled.
Q22. How will results be displayed?
A live leaderboard will continuously update with times and rankings after each heat.
